LED light Kit for GL1200's from LED Nights

I received the kit with no instructions, and there are no part numbers on the bulbs so I am not sure what is what!! Does anyone have the instructions, or can tell me the best place to install the resistors?

Jim is very good - and very patient! He emailed me the instructions and I still had troubles, as they were not "really" clear. (read Bulb/resistor installation for Dummies) He stuck with me and held my hand via email when he probably wanted to have both of his hands around my throat. Once I understood it was a piece of cake. I did take the dash apart and removed the lamp out warning lamp.

Couldn't be more pleased!

I removed the radio and the speakers (just let them hang) There were a couple of screws holding the cluster in. I did have the WS off because I was installing a new Slipstreamer wrap around. The dash rotated sort of up and back toward the seat. With the WS off I did not have to fully remove the cluster, I just looked to verify which bulb it was by turning on the key and then used pointed pliers to pull the socket. The bulb is pretty tiny and just pulls out. Shove the empty socket back in and put it all back together.

I kind of learned as I went and did this after midnight after a full work day so my instructions are only so so. Also I was completely sober so my memory is not so good.

There are high efficiency LEDs that blue led strip produce a very bright light at 10 milli-amperes, but there are LEDs that can use a great deal more power than 30 m.a. too. And led strip 12v some are much MUCH brighter than others.

A typical alkaline AA battery should produce waterproof led strip light more than 2500 milli-amp hours of power, so if one LED was drawing, say 25 m.a., it would last 100 hours, ten such LEDs would last 10 hours and so forth.
