hi wingers
we're just restoring a '84 gl1200 interstate. the bike has stood for 2 years and lots of little jobs to do. the radiator was rusty. bought hi temp paint etc. q) the hoses were perished and now about to be replaced. the o ring looks ok. I've some hylomar sealant that is for all fluids and is good for most applications. i can't find an o ring in the uk? i know the dimensions are:- 54mm x 2mm I'm thinking vitron o rings rather than nitrile, due to the heat and durability. would hylomar be suitable for this thermostats housing seal? many thanks!
