Which temperature sensor?

The sub harness for the interstate is different than the aspencade and there are no unused plugs.

I think someone has installed a different sensor (maybe the single pin from the interstate) and of course the other plug is there unused. I think the (blue) wire has been added by the Original owner but only guessing

I believe that Tricky has the only logical explanation since it appears he experienced the same issues a few years back. I will follow up with the results in 2 weeks. I have ordered the 2 spade Aspy sensor which will ship on a slow boat from China to me late next week. I have decided to change the belts since everything is out of the way now. Hoping that won't be too difficult.
