Last ride this year??

Well, temps soared into the lower 60's for a time today - by the time I got home from the salt mine the clouds had started to roll in taking the place of bright sunny skies. I just had this feeling, so off I went, nice little tour of Somerset county, grab a quick sandwich, ride around the reservoir, on the back side it got really dark and the rain started to fall. Made it home with just a sprinkle.

I'm pretty jealous of you guys in warmer climates. It's not cool thinking that this was likely the last ride until spring. But you never know, I did ride on Christmas eve one year!

I'll keep you in mind when I straddle the saddle tomorrow... Trust me, those of us in the Sunny, Warm South will definitely take the extra time this year to ride for each and every person we can that is on the wrong side of the cold front!

What me and our Wing would like to know is why they don't hold Global Warming sunny beach conferences where we live? Ground has been covered with snow since wk 3 of October, looks like a nice late fall day today: -17C is the forecast high & snow flurries. We've plowed snow off the yard driveways 3 or is it 4 times this fall...

"Go for a ride" means on your ski-mobile, toboggan, or a horse.

Suiting up in warm gear and going for a ride in 50F & sunshine would feel really nice today...

It has been 4 days since I posted last... I have ridden every day... So that is 4 forum members that have enjoyed themselves and didn't even realize it!
