Instrument Panel and Tail Light Bulb Replacement

I feel silly asking this question, but my Clymer's has been backordered twice... so far. How does one get to the Instrument Panel and Tail Lights to replace bulbs on an '85 GL1200 LTD? :?:

Although yours is the LTD the instrument panel should be similar

Removal-Interstate and Aspencade
METER VISOR

You need to remove the top screw on the mirrors and loosen the bottom one then swing the mirrors down

Remove the 4 screws under the trim and take off the windshield.

Pull the speaker covers and remove the speakers. Pry out the HONDA emblem then unscrew

Remove the radio

Remove the meter visor and clock together.

Disconnect the instrument couplers from the wire harness. ( you may not need to do this unless you are removing totally)

Remove the two nuts and washers that hold the instrument mounting bracket to the fairing. Use some vaseline on the socket to keep the nuts from falling into the fairing

Remove the two nuts that hold the instrument mounting bracket to the radio bracket.
