The bars are adjustable - 3 positions I think.
Rode mine 385 miles yesterday to the National Motorcycle museum in Anamosa. Averaged 40mpg with curise control set on 79pmh on Interstate 80. It was a nice ride.

okay, ultimately, we didn't trade for the Ltd, or the ST1100. I got an offer on my Shadow to trade for a 2001 Yamaha Star Venture. It was a good compromise between cruiser looks and dresser tourability. I would like to thank everyone for their input. This is and has been one of the best forums.
