The dreaded wheel problem
I just installed a 1500 wheel & differential on my 84.
I took a bit of stock removal and fitting to get the brake caliber mount fitted.
Since I don't have a shop I used a hacksaw to remove the most material and then assorted files to complete the fitting.
It's not a hard job to fit the caliber mount, my wheel didn't have a tire on while fitting.
It took about four hours to complete the whole install.

Since the brake calipers are the same(1200 &1500) I didn't need to seperate the brake line.

I do notice better braking, ride is great. I used a Avon Cobra 150/80-16 tire for the rear. I will soon be taking a 2K mile trip and will see how things go.
