Hey Guys......

I am the one now making the 84 horn button, the one I originally used to make the mold was a repaired original. I have since come up with a mint unbroken original and have remade the mold so they come out like the pictures below.....

If you got one of the first ones I made please let me know so I can send you the "New and Improved" one....

I am in the process of going through my records and sending out the new ones to people that have already purchased them, all at no charge of course......

Thanks
Dale

Hey Dale, I'd like a couple but I don't do Ebay. What if I send you a check and after it clears you can send me the buttons?

Bill, I ordered a couple from Dale the other day and he takes PayPal. You don't need to use eBay.

Just send him a PM and he'll get back to you with his e-mail address for payment.

There is a little groove on the white post in the controls, the button has little hooks that sit into the groove to hold it in place....

To be safe it is best to put a small dab of glue (I use silicon sealant, keeps it in place but also makes it easy to remove) where the button sits on the post to make sure it stays on. You do not need much and it is insurance to make sure the button stays in place.

The button is an exact copy of an original, it has not been redesigned or reworked and since the originals have a tendency to fall off I am sure the copies will also....Better to be safe than sorry......

Anyone that ordered one of the first ones I made (made from a broken original that had been repaired) has been sent the new and improved one, they should be arriving in the next few days......

Thanks

The two buttons arrived today, Dale. Excellent workmanship and perhaps better than the original.

Glad they arrived ok Ian.......Since they are exact copies of the original I would still suggest using a spot of epoxy to make sure they do not come off....

Just read about horn buttons;Have 2 84 standards, what is availability,& price of these little jewels?

Guess this is right place to ask about availability,& price, of horn buttons,as I have 2, 84 Standard's that could use new buttons.
