looking to find replacement wind deflectors

Hello, New to this forum. Just bought an 86 Gl1200 SEI. Was riding 1978 GL1000. Love the new bike, its a huge upgrade over the 78. Well anyways. Ive been looking for a replacement deflector for the right side which is cracked in two. Every place i look wants to sell me the whole set up again. Is there any place where you can just get the plexi glass pieces? 8)

See if there's a plastics shop in phone book near you. I have one near me that I had storm windows made/ cut from acrylic sheets. You may need to buy a few extras which would be a good idea anyway. They may or may not have colors, but if not window film could be applied & trimmed to leeward side of wing. Plexiglass or acrylic should work fine.

I presume thats the bit that fixes to the side of the screen with 2 bolts. I took them off and dont want them if you get stuck for more local supply.

Most larger sign shops would be able to make the deflector for you and so would most sheet plastic shops, although I think that you would have a hard time getting a color match unless you had both sides made at the same time.
