Cooling fan switch

My fan turns on when the engine reaches the appropriate temp. The problem is it will not turn off until the engine has sat and completely cooled.
I'm assuming it's the fan switch. How do I get to it to change it without taking off the radiator? What do I need to take off to get to it? Thx rbfineline |

The thermo switch is located and accessible from the right side of the engine beneath and in front of the carbs. You will need a long socket extension and if you change them out quickly enough with the cooling system still sealed up (radiator cap and drain plug still sealed) you will only loose a small amount of coolant.

For myself, when I am in a rush, I make matters worse. for years now, I have given myself more than ample time for each project.
For me, I would drain the coolant into a clean container before starting. It doesn't take long and I wouldn't have to top off or rinse the engine and the ground of spilled coolant. my $.02 ~O)
