I installed this $53 system ( http://www.gooddeals18.com/c=LPZ2gJ9Frp ... QgodVHwk8A )on my Wifes 650 V-Star and it sounds pretty good so I thought I would pass this along in case some of you are looking for a way to add music to your bike. It's not as good as a $1000.00 system but it sounds OK even at hiway speeds.WELL worth the $$ in my opinion.
I used the supplied brackets and mounted the speakers to the handlebar risers.I had to grind the brackets a little and file down the riser caps so the bars would still clamp tight. (You could probably clamp the speakers to the handlebars or....) I mounted the amp in the tool compartment and leave the switch turned on and the volume turned all the way up. A relay now powers the system on/off when the key is turned and the volume is now controlled by the input device. I used a MP3 player. I ran the jumper cable from the amp to the inside of the pouch on the gas tank. Simply open the pouch, pull out the hidden cable, plug the cable in to the MP3 player and we have tunes. I stuck a piece of velcro to the back of the player and stick the player to the velcro that normally holds the flap closed on the pouch. It's easy to reach there to adjust the volume if need be. Just throwing some ideas out there for you folks.... Before installing.... ![]() Instalation.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks great! Amazon.com has these for about 7 clams cheaper and there are 24 user reviews about them too. If I didn't have tunes on the wing, I would definitely give these a shot.
