new front tire
I'm looking for a new front tire, for my87 aspencade, i called the local dealer and all they have is a dunlop 404, or a kenda 657. I was hoping to get a dunlop elite 111, but they said they don't make them anymore, is this true? if they still make them does anybody know where i can get one around windsor ontario. thanks. mike

jees what a way to sell a guy tires that he doesn't want Smile

I am certain that any reputable Honda dealer can get you a Dunlop Elite III bias tire for your 1200, if they can't or wont't (find another dealer) I am sure Vic will be along to give you some names, he lives in the Leamington area.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

I guess the honda shop was incorrect, i found an elite 111 at powercycle for 190 bucks installed , if i bring in just the tire, I got the tire i wanted for 35 bucks less, i guess it pays to shop around. Big Grin

I'm glad you didn't get talked out of a great tire. On another note, are you going to put some miles on that tire on Friday and ride up to Port Dover? If you want some company let me know. Is anyone else going to Port Dover on Friday?

That sounds like fun. I just got word that one of the guys here is a supervisor at Niagara Falls and he's taking some of the guys from here on a tour of the turbines on Friday so that might be interesting after Port Dover on Friday. Ride safe and have fun.

Anybody looking for tires should consider calling Zdeno Cycle Salvage in Kitchener. They will ship them or they will install them for you.Wheels on or off the bike. They are supposed to be the largest bike tire retailer in Canada.Usually offers 30% off list. They shipped 2 tires up to Orillia for $30 for a buddy of mine.
