roanokejim, There is a cause for sure. No one seems to be able to say definitively what that cause is. I did notice, on E-Bay that the output shaft springs on the 1100 are different than the 1200 ones.
Looks to be 9 rounds of spring on the 1100 and 7 on the 1200. I don't know if the shafts ae interchangeable.
