I have got my 85 gl1200 ltd running again,i`ve replaced the TPS,cleaned the injectors, balanced the engine, new timing belts, new thermostat, new exhaust off a Harley cruiser, new plugs. It runs great and sounds good but my fuel system light is on.Whats with that? Going to run diagnostics again. Any one have any ideas. The TPS is off of a honda auto and has been retro fitted.
thanks Ron  |

You need the supplement manual and then you have to do the prescribed test procedures as outlined in the supplement. If you don't have the manual I believe I can email it to you.

I had a problem like this once, the red fuel light was on and the onboard Computer system was not working correctly, I found it to be a fuse behind the left faring pocket had went bad, ask about that...... jus saying...

Thanks for the reply. I had the same fuse out after a t-stat. replacement. The manual got me going. I had forgotten about that fuse. The spare 7.5 fuse was in the little pocket. joe
