Wanted Left side battery cover Blue Aspencade :-(

Hello everyone,

I lost my left side battery cover off my 1985 Aspencade. It was Blue and had chrome rails attached, Drag Specialties ...

I located other colors on Ebay ... I am seeing that...

This happens a lot ... and...
There aren't many covers available...

I am new to looking for parts, so any help is appreciated.

Here's a silver one that is cheap. You could always paint it.

I have all my covers and lids tied with cord that is long enough that I can take the covers and lids off but if they fall off they won't go anywhere.

On my bike used 80 pound test fishing line and the swivel leader snap.

I thought my covers were held on good as the rubber gromet was in good shape, but today while chasing out the gremlins on my 85 LTD I felt the right side cover come loose (@ 103mph) luckly my leg held it on till I could shut it down enough to reach down with my hand to snap the front peg back in place. Tomorrow I will be setting up a cord or something like a mentioned earlier in this post.

I didn't read the description but the picture is of a left cover.
As Angela said the auction has ended with no bids but it has been relisted with the description corrected.
