caliper paint
Has anybody ever come across a paint which will resist brake fluid? my Brake calipers are getting downright ugly (so I'm a sloppy wrench...)

Never tried it but keep promising, I would prefer a brush type but Duplicolor seem to have something might even be able to find a color close to the bike, but shiny black would be nice.

Bob, I sometimes get the feeling you and I are the only ones who ever come into this forum.
Did you check the speed shops to see if there is some automotive type paint for the calipers?

Looking at the post history for Back Yard Built Gold Wings Bar and Grill, very few people people post here.
And My old eyes were seeing BadOrderBob instead of BackYard Bob. Duh! Pay Attention, Dummy! (meaning me!) :d

If you can swing it have the calipers powder coated. They look great and the finish is very durable, far better than paint.

I am going to need some paint not only for my calipers but first i need to rebuild them

I also want to do my forks.(not the tubes). and I also want to paint the final drive housing. Maybe the head covers, the little round covers over the carbs, swing arm, I better quit.

Any sugestions on that? ^Smile^

sshhhh! only takes 20-25 mins at 400 deg

just give her some money and send her shopping, course just make sure ya air out house before she gets back

and if the oven is fairly new, dont even think of it,unless ya plan on buying her a new one

note: for the price the Eastwood gun works relatively good, just wont allow you to coat as thick as a good commercial setup but ok for a beginner,i have their small gun and their expensive one and its still not as good as commercial
