Your's is the first post I've seen on this although I've given some thought to a replacement but haven't came up with anything yet.. Something from an electonic's dealer like Radio Shack perhaps??

You could try adapting something like this <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=11292">http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/us ... ?pid=11292</a><!-- m --> or this <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.directindustry.com/prod/apm-hexseal/switch-sealing-boot-9124-23843.html">http://www.directindustry.com/prod/apm- ... 23843.html</a><!-- m -->

My cover is ripped also. How difficult is it to get into this unit. I:m having a problem with no sound from speakers on left side. I swapped a working speaker but no go. Anyone else had this problem/

You probably got some water or something in the fader switch due to the faulty gaskit . Try spraying some contact cleaner in it. It is probably in the switch :?: It is not to difficult to get in there to replace the switch ( depending on how savy you are with taking things apart :lolSmile you would have to if you were to replace the gaskit

Did you find a fix for the fader boot?
Also, how did you replace the faded face? I need to do mine disparately - I can hardly read any of it anymore.

Thanks
