Timing Belt Covers
Now that the new timing belts, thermostat, fan thermoswitch, have been installed, new radiator hoses cut and ready to install, what are the slick little tricks you have found to reinstall the timing belt covers. Keeping the gaskets in place while bolting them back into place, reconnecting the overflow hose on the radiator, etc. I know there must be a few of you that have some dandys, if you care to share.

Thanks

Glue the rubber gaskets onto the covers with contact cement.

Use some soapy water on the inside of the hoses that might help.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

I leave the over flow hose on the rad and just disconnect it from the tank end... Be sure to feed the hose up through the opening where the cap normally is (better if you have a third hand to hold it as you feed the radiator up into place)...

For the belt covers, I just used a bit of weather strip adhesive on the rubber trim...

Thanks Ed. Thats what I was thinking. That area is pretty small to be working with a hose.
