Bridgestone OEM G702 and G703

I once had Bridgestone Exedras on my 84 and I found them to be awesome when new but after a few thousand miles they started to wear incredibly fast and the cupping was unbelievable. Now with thousands of miles on my Dunlop Elite III's I still get great performance and the wear is hardly noticable. I wouldn't use anything other than Dunlop Elite III's because in my opinion they are the best tires available for a GL1200 and the bonus is that the prices are reasonable.

Wait until you have 20,000 miles on those Dunlops then you'll really be thanking me. Highest mileage I've seen or heard of with the Elite III's on a GL1200 is 24,600 miles, (no trailer and a civilized rider with good tire maintenance.) I was very optimistic and quite pleased that I had E III's on my 1200 when I saw that. Hopefully I can get that kind of mileage from my tires.
