Hi Guy,
Overdrive26 here, and I would dare to say that at 600 mi. you haven`t hurt anything. I did the same thing, only I ran it 2200mi with no problem at all. Just change it now and you will be alright. Good Luck and happy riding, Overdrive26 Wayne Allen 
If you treat your 1200 right, and trust her, she can and will save your butt from a lot of bad scenes. Just believe in her! Mine has several times.
