Cigarette lighter?

Does the 86 SEI have a cigarette lighter anywhere on it that was stock? I was looking and do not see one. Also did these models come with a CB radio installed?
One last question..(for now!) I see my bike is wired for a intercom but is it set up so the radio will play and if I or my passenger talk the radio will cut out? |

All Honda Goldwings even the 1800 the CB is an optional EXTRA.
If you have the intercom junction box installed and the cabling, also optional XTRA's, then the you should have what is known as "Voice activated" intercom, the radio SHOULD mute when either the rider or passenger talks, it should not cut out like it does when the CB operates. The level at which the radio mutes is adjustable, if it is set very sensitive it will mute the radio with wind noise.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the intercom set up I think as I have the 5pin cables for both the front and rear rider. I do not at the moment have a headset to connect to them.
What about the lighter? I was hoping it had one so I could hook up a GPS to the bike using the lighter as a power source. |

On the right side of the faring there is a plastic plug you can put one there. I mounted one in the left pocket for my GPS.
Traning will keep you alive.

It would be cheaper to get a disposable lighter methinks, LOL. |

I've been told.......... [-X [-X [-X that no GL1200 came with a cig lighter. However, mine has one. The dash is configured properly for it and it even has the indention where the lighter would be if there wasn't one. There are kits available to mount one. Most accessory folks have them.

Mine is in the same place. It got a bit rusty and I cleaned it up with a brass brush on my Dremel and then dabbed a little dilectric grease in there. I stick a meter in it to monitor my battery. (too lazy to install one) :-

If that's what your "new toy" was called, I get it... I like the pocket cover, what all is on it?

Nice, did you make the cover, or is it an aftermarket piece I've missed out there? :YMAPPLAUSE:
