Just ran a little test and found that DirectLine (first site listed above) does indeed ship to Canada...
I have worked with these folks for many years and have not as yet had an order problem (missing parts or incorrect parts)...

I have an early 84 Aspy; It has a filler neck on the radiator that takes a cap the same size as my Jeep! I've ordered a cap from the stealer, and it is tiny! So, since my Jeep rad cap fits well, the question is: How many pounds rating should the cap be? BTW, The library here lists the same cap as the stealer ordered for me.
Also, I think I will attempt to replace the timing belts while she's apart. I cannot find the gasket number (been trying babbitsonline and don't see it). I assume this gasket is not 'reusable'. |

If the timing cover gasket's are not cut or messed up I'd reuse them.
Come to think of it,,,, I did!! 8)

Here's a page I came across while doing some work on one of my other bikes. Has some spark plug cross references for our NGK 1200 applications. I can't vouch for its accuracy, but it is a starting point.

Hey TN, one big pat on your back for creating such a great parts list. It was needed and you did it. Thank you.

All Goldwings from the 1000 to the 1500's use a 13psi or 0.9 radiator cap, the manual says the bikes range from 11 to 15 psi on the cooloing systems.
The 1800 uses the 16psi or 1.1 radiator cap.

I have another part number for the radiator hoses. It's Gates 21488. My hose you have listed was on back order and my parts guy had ordered this one for another wing owner who said it worked great. It does, no interference with the top hose.
The parts list you have put together sure came in handy on my trip to the parts store, not to mention saving some coin. Thanks, Rich ![]() |
