GL1200 LEDs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of the LEDs you find out there are just novelty items, very dim.

And most of them claim to be super bright, be very careful buying LEDs from unknown suppliers, as you may get stuck with unusable lights.

I got your complete kit last year. Excellent!!! I added a strobe module I found at Americade to the trunk brake light (by choice, leaving the saddlebag brake lights as usual). I also added LED trailer lights to the trailer and wired them to the strobe as well. What can I say - 3 strobe cycles and then a solid brake light from your LED's are more than enough to ensure the driver behind you knows you are stopping! I love these LED's!

Hello Jim. Long time no see. Are you still in the LED business. I think AspectOne was looking for you.

How 'bout LEDs for an '86 GL1200 Aspy? Do you have any (or a "kit" that would fit and replace some of the stock bulbs?) Then maybe I could add more since their draw is much less.

I got the kit a couple of years ago from Jim for my '85 Aspy, should be the same as the '86 if it's still available. I did swap out my Honda flashers for regular card flashers, worked just fine, there's a post somewhere in here on how to do it, LOL! The only other thing I had to do was remove the bulb from the "Taillight" idiot light on the instrument panel, somehow the reduced draw makes it think that there's a bulb out. Otherwise, I love 'em, especially in conjunction with the Poorboy conversion, no low voltage problems at all.

Oh yeah, the only other problem I had ( me being picky..) was that after I used the LED replacement bulbs in the two lights on either side of the headlight, the headlight looked yellow... fixed that problem by doing the HID conversion on the headlight. Now they match, but my halogen driving lights look yellow now....They do make good daytime running lights, I guess.
