Left, but no right turn signal

Well after a half a day looking for any info on what to do, I give up. Time to ask the experts here.

I have a 1985 Aspencade that the left turn signal works correctly and cancels correctly. When I activate the right signal I hear a slight click (like from a relay) and the signal does not turn on. I pulled the turn signal relay and cleaned all the contacts then reinstalled. Four ways work as they should.

Any ideas? I don’t like tearing into things without a plan. I also have a complete 86 Aspencade for parts if needed to diagnose.

Well, problem located. It turned out to be the handlebar switch. Replaced with new OEM controls and everything works.

Hopefully this helps others with the same symptoms.
