85 LTD starter, 2 brushes or 4 ?

I was looking for brushes for my bike and I noticed some pictures had 4 brushes only, and complete rebuild kits only show 2 brushes.
The set of brushes I got 10 years ago, is totally lost in my junk, so time to get more. Maybe someone is just using stock photos.
