Need Longer Speedo Cable

Greetings all. I am new to the forum. I don't own a GW, but bought a used leading link front end for a GL1200. it came off a 1985 model. I am using this front end on a Kawaski Concours 1000 because it is a direct fit to my triple trees. both fork diameter and space between forks works.
what I'm trying to find is a speedo cable which is longer than standard. the reason is that the leading link pushes the entire wheel forward from stock. I'm not sure if anything like this is even made. I've done some internet searches to no success. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? |

I don't have any personal experience, but I recall custom length cables coming up time to time. Several have claimed success with motionpro making custom lengths. Don't hurt to ask and I'm sure there's others that make custom length cables as well.
An off the shelf cable may require looking through cables of a well stocked dealer or shop and see if anything matches what you need.
