Terre Haute rider
I just got this 84 Aspencade on the road after giving it love for 2 months. Got it in non running condition, last plated in '08, and it has less than 20k on the clock. Carbs cleaned, tires and misc and I'm cruising. I still have my '84 Interstate with 100k on clock. Got it about a year ago and put 20k miles over the last year.

What a cool looking bike you have there, Dean. Awesome pic. Do you still own it?

Yes I do. Still battling fuel issues, crud in the tank is plugging the pick up tube randomly. I've tried cleaning it out. Will have to do it again. Sigh.

I sure do love it. Been on a couple 2k mile trips through TN and NC

You found exactly what I am looking for. I'm in the market for a GL1200 after 7 years of being off motorcycles. I have owned many bikes since I was 14, and have missed riding something awful. Now at 68 i'm getting back into it. I would like to bring an old one back to life. You did a fantastic job.
