For Sale LTD
I saw an add for an '85 LTD (not to be confused with the '84 LTD.......)
The guy posted a few pictures. Looks clean, but from this picture, I'm thinking it has a few issues........

Not really. But the idle is far too low. That may account for the voltage, maybe not. But according to the temp gauge, it doesn't appear as if the aux air regulator is allowing the idle to come up. Should still be a little over or right at normal rpm.

After initial cranking mine starts @ about 1000rpm speeds up to about 1500-1600rpm for about a minute or so then slows down to about 1000rpm, sometimes as low as 780rpm.. But I've not ridden the bike as much as I should due to one thing or the other and I think that affects the bike quite a bit! Has the bike been ridden much??

Don't know the particulars on this bike, but your rpms shouldn't be dropping any lower than set speed if the rest is in good shape. You may have a temperature SENSOR fading, or the air regulator could stand a good cleaning. Generally, that low an idle during warm up is an indication it's running too rich in that cycle.

Good info Mike! Mine has varied plus or minus 1000rpm every since I got her running. I might check into that air regulator your talking about. But I do know the more I run her the less it varies! She just wants to RIDE I guess!!!

After a bit more thought, the TPS might be causing that as was well because mine also had a hesitation as well that still occurs occasionally, (might be because I'm paying more attention at times?). After all the TPS is nothing more that a carbon, not wire wound, rheostat that can develop a "scratchy" spot as time goes on which will send an incorrect sensor voltage reading to the main computer, right?......
