Forgive me. Still trying to find my way around. It's changed a bit, so it may take awhile. I apologize up front to anyone I didn't MEAN to offend.......
Getting ready for another riding season. I'm replacing t-belts and tensioners. 30K on the belts. 30 years on the tensioners. Coolant, oil, and general cleanup/polish. Shift shaft seal is leaking. The plug for the stator is leaking also, but I'm not pulling the engine until the stator fails, or the clutch takes a dump. First thing every year I "reset" the front end to eliminate wobble. Head bearings don't need it very often, but I always loosen the bridge and axle nuts, then re-tighten in the correct order. I had to break down and buy a lift this year. Forty plus years of wrenching has taken its toll on my back and knees. Now I've got my roller seat, so life is good. |
