where is everyone
(09-11-2016, 07:50 PM)canter1200 Wrote: I sold my 1200 a few years ago, but this site and that bike have always been fond memories. I just clicked back in here a few weeks ago and was sad to see Vic passed away and the site seems to have slowed down. I had a GL1500 for a few years after the 1200 and currently have a '77 GL1000 that's fun. I've been on the hunt for another GL1200I or a standard but haven't found that "deal " I can't refuse yet (can't talk the wife into a trip to Canada for Vics bike and I don't know that I could hold that torch). I've been checking every couple days for new posts out here.

What price range are you thinking for a 84 Standard ?

Hey Poorboy,
I guess I've been looking at location, miles, and condition as my factors for price range.

I'm about 7 hours from Huntsville up here. What's the market like for standards down there?

I've been putting some miles in this summer, close to 13,000 but I've done them on the mighty ST 1300 I picked up last year. I've only put 2000 miles on my 1500 wing

Somehow I lost this site from my "favorites" list .... which is "long" so maybe I accidently deleted it. Was doing a Google search tonight and saw it and thought "I used to visit that site". Well, I tried a couple screen names and hit it on the second try, saw last time I was here was Dec 2015.

I always liked this site, well laid out. I'll have to come back more. Still have a '85 GL1200A and a '97 GL1500SE Trike.

Later ....... Smile

I have not checked in as often as I did because I'm down to one GL1200, and it's running well. everyone have a great Christmas, New Year, and Chanukah!
