radiator cap
I have put Evans NPG HP in my gl1200 Aspy and according to Evans it is best to run a 4psi cap. I haven't found one that will fit my 85. Anyone have any ideas or opinions on this. What harm will be done by running the standard cap that came with my wing?

I ran evans for a while with standard cap, ran fine. I think Vic was running evans for a while but not sure if he runs it now.
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

Thanks Tricky. Do you know what the psi rating for the standard cap is?

I think the cost really considering I change the coolant every two years and not sure I run under conditions requiring Evans coolant.

I used it when I coldnt figure what was overheating the bike, it turned out to be a niggly head gasket.

I use Honda premix now

I have been running Evans NPG for several years and I have encountered 0 problems with the cooling system. I have removed the rubber seal to rad gasket and no issues so far.

I've been running Evan's for four years with OEM radiator cap without any issues.
