EFI motor to carb motor
I have a 1985 EFI motor that I am putting in a 1987 carb bike. I am taking the EFI unit of the 85 motor and putting the carbs off the 87 motor on it to put in my 1987 bike.
I know that I have to change the pulse generators ,oil sending unit can I take off the camshaft angle sensor off and put cap off the 87 motor on and what other stuff do I need to change

Not to be rude, but, why remove the sensor (if it is not going to be used and it is plugging the hole) just to plug it?
Of course, a neat and tidy engine is always a good answer. LOL
I am not familiar with the EFI engine other than there are additional sensors which displaced non-EFI motor sensors.
Example is the oil sensor on carbureted engines is located at the top-right-rear of the motor and the EFI oil sensor can be located in the upper-right transmission cover.
Does the EFI vacuum for OD also come from the number 4 intake manifold?

So other than being required to move some wiring around to accommodate the non-EFI engine, it should be rather straight forward.

My only suggestion would be to make sure to dot your I’s and cross your T’s. In other words, take your time and recheck your work at least twice before moving on.

Of course, let us know how it all turns out too!
