Has Anyone Tried Spark Bright Battery Voltage Monitors

Here is the link to the Battery Voltage Monitors by Spark Bright.
I installed one on my G/F's Cx 500 and it seemed to work well. Wouldn't you know it though a couple months after I installed it she wanted a bigger bike, so it didn't get a chance to prove itself. http://www.sparkbright.co.uk/battery-vol...nitors.php

Haven't used that one, but it looks very similar to one offered by Signal Dynamics, which I have use and like a lot:

I haven't tried either product posted.
I am using an analog volt meter, made for Honda Watersports by Faria. Price at the time I bought was about $23.00 with shipping, back light, black face, white letters, sweep needle, weather proof (marine grade) It does take up more room than a single led, but it allows me to see a change in the normal running voltage sooner (1 volt increments) than an led changing colors or from steady to blinking. The factory digital would be nice, but I have that slot taken by the factory clock. My '85 Interstate came without radio and such and the PO drilled holes in the speaker blanks, so I mounted my gauge in the right speaker blank on the same plane as the rest of the gauges. I don't have to take my eyes off the road to read what is going on. my 0.02 btw, an external mounted, Geo Metro alternator (Thanks Poorboy) has rendered the voltmeter just about obsolete! -Ride On
enjoying the view from the saddle....... due mainly to the people and information found within this site
