Front wheel bling

One of the details that has always defined a wing for me is the the part that is called, in the GL1500s, the "wheel cover. It's the chrome dust cover over the front disk.. It just, for some reason, appeals to me and gives the bike a "finished" look.
I just got a 1986 Aspencade. Were these "wheel covers" or whatever available for the GL1200? Thanks! Alex |

There were similar disk covers but not plastic
The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

surf Ebay and/or surf your favorite search engine 'image' option for gl1200 disc cover
at least you can get an idea of what they look like off the bike
enjoying the view from the saddle....... due mainly to the people and information found within this site

It has been done, 1500 covers on a 1200. There should be a thread on here about it. Personally I don't like the look. I put a ring of on 1200 covers & like the way they look.

Cool. I know what to look for now, and I'll try searching again.
As far as the looks, I understand. Everyone has their preferences. I have always liked the look of the 1500 covers, and I'd like to get a set on my 1200. Again, personal choice... Thanks for the info and advice, guys! Alex |
