front tire wobble
Had to take my front tire off to paint the old girl. I have now put it back on and it is not spinning true. It is rubbing on the sides of the fender.
How am I going to rectify this?

Make sure the bead is correctly seated by adding air pressure and smacking the tire with a large rubber hammer. If that doesn't work take it to a shop and have it inspected and trued.

The tire was not off the rim. Just off the front forks.

If the wheel is not bent, the forks are not offset and the tire is not out of true then you'll need to accurately reseat the axle in the bottom of the forks. Can't be anything else, at least not from my vantage point. Actually, I'd need more details on exactly what you did to the bike to help you any further.

Make sure you put the axle retaining cups on correctly. If they get reversed, the tire will shift away from center. Look for the small arrows on the sides of the cups.

Ride on.

Ya. None of them were the problem. I would rather not say how I fixed it other than "It is always easier when you put things together the same way you took them apart.
