Used Progressive Shocks on eBay
There's a used set ofProgressive Shocks on eBay without bids, starting at $65.63 with free shipping. I rechecked Progressives' website and the shocks are lifetime warranty. It's possible to get this set fairly cheep and if needed have Progressive rebuild them.

i would first check with Progressive to see if they would honor that warranty, since most warranties are only available to original owners but hopefully thats not the case, keep us advised

How would they know who the original owner is? I have a set of progressive shocks in my basement, I haven't installed mine yet (still sitting in the basement) but no one asked for my information when I bought them.

The rebuild Kit is only $20 even if they don't support the warranty. Easy rebuild too if they actually require it.

I looked @ that site it says it will rebuild rear shocks on a 1985 GL interstate but what does it mean when it says, Universal No?
the more money I can save the happier the wife will be.

Thanks
