Bike Lift

Although it's my 1500 Nomad and not my 86 Aspencade in the pictures. You will get the idea what admin is talking about using a car stand. When you remove something as heavy as a wheel you throw the balance of the bike way off. So you need something to support the other end of the bike, or like Jack and Jill it will come tumbling down!!!
![]() The other thing you may notice is I removed the pads or arms that the bike sits on. With the Nomad just sliding the lift under the bike you would be lifting the bike by the bottom of the engine. So on a Kawasaki forum I found a guy that made custom brackets that just the frame would make contact with the lift. I love this lift for doing maintenance and cleaning. I've yet to try the Aspencade on the lift because of the custom arms made for the Nomad.

I bought the one that Johan has ( I traded for some work he did for me) & thought it was the cat's meow. I paid just a little bit more than that by 9 bucks. It is well worth the price. CTC often puts it on sale.
