Relay for Electric Fan

I have changed my fan to a 10 inch push fan and was wondering what others have done for the fan relay switch. Input appreciated...

you could just hook it into the circuit same as original,unless you are also referring to the fact that your fanswitch is bad also,but if the fan current draw is too much and trips the original fuse circuit then you could wire in a relay which would power fan off the battery once the fan circuit is tripped
sei fan circuit uses a 10 amp so should be adequate to run the new fan

I went with your suggestion to use the original wiring and ran wiring for a bypass switch as well. Tested it tonight and it works great cools the bike down twice as fast as the other fan did.
