radio stuck
Ok I seen a thread that said if you have static on the radio you can clean the contacts. Ok I thought the only thing I had to do to get the radio out was turn the lock by the clock an puff it unlocks an you pull it out. No, I unlock it and that side is free but the other side is still stuck. Is there something else I have to do or is it just stuck. There does seem to be a small piece of what looks like a wire on that side. it just sticks out the bottom side of the radio maybe 1/2" or so. It don't go any where outside the radio. I don't know what the other end goes to its between the radio and the mount. Should I pry the radio out, because it just stuck or what..

It should just pull out? I have no idea what that wire would be

If it's not broke, I can fix that!

Push the radio in all the way, turn the key all the way to unlock, then wiggle and pull hard (really hard) and it will come out unless something is broken inside the mechanism which I have never seen or heard of. My own bike's radio requires a massive pull to remove it in spite of being properly lubricated and adjusted. It's almost like they designed it with a taper that keeps it from rattling in the mount. Have a helper hold the key turned all the way then use two hands to yank the radio.
