To Vent or Not to Vent?
Other than directing some fresh air to the operator, what other benefits does a vented windshield offer? I've been told it really reduces the buffeting on the passenger. Is there a good Canadian source?

I was always led to believe that the windshield vent was to cut down turbulence behind the windshield. I see lot of them on E-Bay
1986 SEi Limited Edition. 1985 Aspencade
If it's not broke, I can fix that!

I have the taller, wrap around windshield and the Baker Built Air Wings, uppers and lowers. I found on hot days, especially in lower speeds or in city traffic where the air wings aren't pulling in much fresh air, wishing I could "roll a window down". During higher speeds there was a negative air pressure between me and the windshield, causing my beard/mustache to blow forward. I purchased and installed a replacement vent for the GL1500 from Saber Cycle. It works great and looks like it belongs there. It has a lever to open or close as necessary.
