CB installation question

Installing a cb, first for my 85 ltd. The problem I'm having is; coming out of auto volume control is a single black wire. The instructions say it connects into a white/black wire coming from the fairing harness can't seem to find the connection point. There is a fair amount of wire with a nipple type connector does this feed through from the fairing pocket to a connector outside of the fairing pocket? Thanks for any direction you can give

if you are looking at the radio install instructions you would be correct on an aspy, but on the ltd the white/blk wire is connected into the travel computer thru C85 on the travel computer,dont recall a connection in the left pocket but it would have to be attached somewhere i imagine
