At least the control is in your hands when on an icy patch of road, unlike a road that contains hazards like several cagers all with cell phones to their ears as they drag on a cigarette with the other hand. I have driven my 1200 on solid ice several times and had no problems except for not being able to stop quickly but then all the other cars had the same problem as well. My advisement when driving on ice/snow is to be as smooth as possible on all controls, especially the front brake and to never panic. The bike may feel different on ice but it will still go where you want it to go if you drive with your baby fingers and baby toes so that all moves will be super gentle and smooth.

I suppose, if you're going to drive on ice it's best to bring someone along.

OMG, what a blast that would be, especially if they were husband and wife teams. LOL

That does look like a good time but I think I will pass on the ice and snow, I have a hard enough time walking in that stuff.

that ice racing looks like something I would love to try. :d :d

went for a nice ride to Mission today with Deb and me on Vanna and invited our neighbor to join us so we all went for a nice Sunday afternoon ride and a nice lunch at a place called "Rocko's"
a popular place for bikers to stop.. then back home, was a bit chilly coming home as the sun was going down but still a nice ride.. :YMAPPLAUSE: :YMAPPLAUSE:
