Accessory Fuse Panel addition
I have been searching the web on adding a fuse panel to my wing to fix my bird's nest of wiring that I personally created. I came across this write up and thought I would share. Pretty straight forward explanation and how to for a dummy like me.

http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Installing_...y_fuse_box

I know its for a Ninja but it can be applied to any bike.

i believe that this fusebox is even simpler in its use and makes for an easier setup

It definitely makes it easier, but for a 1/4 the price I can make it harder on myself......plus my wife gets to watch me cut and burn myself, cuss enough to take her out to a fancy place from money dropped in the swear jar, and junk the bike atleast 3 times before I finish the job. Why make it easier?

easier and better connections than the first fusebox is a definite plus the 2nd fusebox allows fuse circuits to be hot whether or not depending on how they are switched, which at times is a definite advantage

Neoracer, I like that fuseblock.
I was dreaming something like that to fabricate myself.
Hot and switched Hot, your choice.

Sure it is more expensive but in my book Time is money. Don't have much if either so I just need to balance which makes more sense.
I can't make more time, but I can always find a way to make a few extra shells at least at this point in my Life.
Thanks for sharing. That is what makes these GL sites so great... Ideas and shared research.

Accessory fuse block for those of us who have converted to automotive alternator
Does your fuse block look like this.

Since the new alternator has on-board rectifier/regulator, the Honda unit can be eliminated and its mount be utilized for a fuse block and relay.

Of primary concern was that their addition did not interfere with removal of air box lid or make difficult the installation of shelter (faux gas tank) plastic. So I came up with a configuration that placed them in line and mounted on a piece of aluminum angle stock (1” x 1.5”) that was in turn mounted to bolts available by the vacated Honda unit.

This addition has considerably cleaned up the Honda fuse block appearance and aided in isolating any future wiring bugs, while it added safe pick up points to add things like heated jacket or gloves.
