not 100% sure i think there just for removing the piston rings from the piston
you can if your very careful fit the pistons back in the crank case without using any piston ring compressors the crank case has slight chamfor to allow the rings to start entering the crank case i did it yesterday just using the blocks of wood to hold the pistons level |
