Transmission problem?
When I have my GW on the center stand, put it in gear and then rotate the rear tire, it seems to rotate about 6-10". How far should the rear tire normally move under this condition. I didn't find any statements in the service manuals about this? Thanks

There usually is 3 or so inches,
I would investigate the rear wheel drive:

The only stupid questions are the one's that are not asked.

The tire will travel the same amount in any gear. I removed tires last night for new tire installations, so I will investigate the drive shaft and final drive again.

New tires are on and the final drive and u-joint look good. Problem appears to point to the transmission Sad
