My replacement for the GL-1200(RIP)
Found a 1995 Voyager at a good price and couldn't pass it up. With foot pegs,It's not as comfy as the GL1200 was with it's floorboards and at only 750 pounds it's a bit more bumpy on the hiway but it's OK for a commuter bike. At least the new E-3's and Odyssey battery from the wing will fit the Voyager. Too bad the windshield won't fit as this bike needs a new one.

Nice lookin' COW-asaki Mike. :d Friend of mine had one. It's a nice touring bike. They came fully loaded with all the goodie's as standard equipment. Awesome stereo if I remember correctly. Good power and decent handling. Keep an eye on the cam chain tensioner and the carbs. Kawasaki carbs are very sensitive to today's ethanol based fuels. If it's gonna sit for anymore than two weeks, use a fuel stabilizer or drain them. The idle and transitional circuits gum up very quickly! Good luck with it!

a friend had a 98,we found that the trunk center bar had been painted over and the bottom between the bags same way,if you remove the painte you can add bulb sockets there and have additional lighting

they are a nice bike, especially like the adjustable handlebar feature

they look alot like the 84-87 wings with an 81-82 fairing

motor is actually a detuned ninja motor supposedly

Does look a lot like a 1200 Wing ,4cyl Kawasaki motors have always been a fantastic engine, I had a 1983 Z1300 Voyager many years ago imported from the US ,it was a monster but had a big grin factor with the engine screaming and leaving sports bikes of the day at the lights, hope you have a great bike for a bargain price!
Cheers...Charlie
The lady walking ahead of me sped up so I did too, she began running so I ran too, she screamed so I screamed as well. I never even saw what we were running from.

----------------------UPDATE------------------------------
I've had the Voyager about 15 weeks now and it's been long enough for me and the bike to get used to each other.
I know I've been spoiled by the Royal Star Venture but this bike just don't cut it. The gas mileage is GREAT!!(52-59MPG) BUT, the ride is rough, the seat position and foot pegs make it feel like you are in the fetal position so at the end of my 37 mile trip to work I'm more than ready to get off the thing. Combine the uncomfortable ride with unbearable heat on my legs and I've decided me and it will part ways. The heat from the engine/radiator is so bad, I have a heat rash on the inside and outside of both legs. Some Voyager owners have suggested trying some heat insulated chaps. I've decided to install a FOR SALE sign instead.
If you want a bike to use for a few minutes at a time around town then the Voyager would be OK. Anything more than that and I advise to stay away from them.
The Voyager is now for sale and I bought a 2006 Yamaha Venture for almost 1/2 the price they are selling for to replace the Voyager.
Life is good.....
