All parts need to rebuild rear shocks.
I have not decided yet if I am going to rebuild mine, or just replace. But just in case I do rebuild mine, can someone give me a complete list of all parts I will need to buy, and where I can get them? Or if it comes in a kit, do all parts needed come in it, or are there some other parts I need. If its a kit, does it do both rear shocks, or just one. I also need one rubber boot for the back.

there are no kits available you will find the 2nd boot will break apart as soon as you get it off

you'll need: 2 boots
2 seals
2 top bushings
1 spring kit if you are gonna do complete upgrade to progressive standards

neoracer rebuilds original Goldwing shocks at a better price then new and whats better they don't need any modifications to fit ie airline kits that progressive brand require

I found mine on Ebay new, for I think about $315

edit: here is the link for the shocks from the seller I bought them from on Ebay: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Progressive-416-14-Air-Shocks-Honda-Gold-Wing-GL1200-1984-1985-1986-1987-/400274148870?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d3232ce06#ht_1585wt_1185">http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Progressive ... 585wt_1185</a><!-- m -->

They are $313 with shipping.

I know I saw a post a while back which had alternative boots and what fit. Not sure whether it was here or on the GL1200 forum. It's worth a search!

Do "Progressive" sell rebuild parts for their shocks. I was on ebay and have just bought a used pair for £6.50 (under$10) described as "need a service", I thought at that price its worth a gamble, but don't see any parts listed on the progressive website.
Edit would this be the correct part to do a rebuild?

The lady walking ahead of me sped up so I did too, she began running so I ran too, she screamed so I screamed as well. I never even saw what we were running from.

They need to be cut down a little shorter, but works fine...
