Electrical Problem

Help, Last week my 1200 decided it would drain it's battery when everything was turned off. Is this something any one else has experienced? I hate electrical problems.

I've had this happen to me twice, but I was lucky because it was due to my own carelessness. I mistakenly turned the key to accessory rather than off (just a click too far). Other than that, it sounds like a short. I hope someone can offer up a better place to start in your search for the culprit.
Good luck! |

Easy way to search for the problem is to hook digital volt meter set to amps to positive bat cable. Disconnect cable and hook meter in series from cable to post. If more than about .30 amps there is a drain. Start pulling fuses until amps drop. This will show which circuit to check. Do this with key off. Just a thought, did you switch key to acc when you last removed it? That will do it.
