Markland Engine Covers
Thanks for those files. Wow four missing brackets?

Confusedhock:

Yes it is going on an Aspy.

I will either have to get creative here, or find some elsewhere.

These covers look good, but sure fit loosely/rattle with only the rear bracket in place, plus I am sure they will end up damaging the paint ect. if not secured also.

These brackets are with a set of blue side covers I had on my Aspy.

You can see that both sides are different.

The clip is stuck on with double sided strong adhesive tape the red outdoor type.

Maybe they might fit without the front clips, I never tried.

Just sold mine an hour ago on UK ebay, went from £40 to £74 in last 5 seconds even with some cracks and brackets missing, they were only fixed by the one rear bolt but seemed a solid enough fit, the PO had covered 7000+ miles in a year with them like that.
Should I spend the money on an Odyssey battery or a bigger alternator or a trailer...or something else? Hmmm.

The lady walking ahead of me sped up so I did too, she began running so I ran too, she screamed so I screamed as well. I never even saw what we were running from.

Mine is the 84 aspy.

I have the covers on the bike now. After the first ride I noticed the right cover was rubbing in two places so I made the front upper and lower brackets for that side and the cover is now solidly attached and not rubbing the paint. The left side seems OK with just the rear bracket only, so I will wait and see if I need to make those brackets also.

I will have to take and post some pictures this week, I also have to swap out my dragging rear caliper (plus probably poke the return hole in the master) I have a good caliper and new pads ready to go! I am also going to replace the fork oil and install the new Progressive front springs that I have had sitting here for the past year.

Glad to hear you're running them without too much drama.

I have no idea how long the PO ran them on my bike with only the rear brackets...

Would love to see pictures!
