Mystery short on right turn signal
Today suddenly the right turn signal when turned on pegs the volt meter to neg-10. The turn signal still works and flashes fine in front & t
Rear. The left signal is fine. I've removed lenses to check wiring there , under false tank & wires going down handlebar. Have not been able to track down and wondering if any suggestions? Could it be in flasher , switch, or wiring somewhere which is suspected

try the simple solution first, I have seen bulbs short out within itself, try replacing the bulbs and see if the problem is there and if not then chase the wiring looking for a bare spot..
hope this helps.

Hi firstwing, if the bulb was shorted out, would it still light? The signal & lamps work fine

Try swapping the bulbs with each other. Right front signals to left front signals, same with the rears, and see if the problem follows the bulbs. If it doesn't, then the problem is somewhere else in the system. Start with the simple things first, then we'll try to help you troubleshoot it. Let us know how it goes.

Also, make sure you have the correct bulbs. They should all match. I'm not sure if the rears are the same as the fronts. You'll know when you remove the left side, seeing as they are working good.

it can when the negative stem inside breaks and then then both the clearance line and the and the signal are feeding through each other instead of using the ground as it should..
something like this does not happen often but it's easy to check just by switching out the bulbs..
